These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of openpodium.co.uk (the "Site"), operated by PB Runner Ltd, trading as Open Podium ("we", "us", "our"), of 7 Henderson Close, Hastings, England, TN34 2DU. By creating an account or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Using Open Podium

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Let us know immediately at openpodiumhq@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You agree not to misuse the Site — including submitting false results, attempting to manipulate series rankings, or interfering with other users' accounts.

2. Race and Parkrun Results

• Results displayed on the Site are drawn from publicly available results databases and/or entered manually by users.
• While we take reasonable care to keep results accurate, we cannot guarantee that all data is error-free or fully up to date. If you spot an error in your own results, contact us and we'll look into it.
• Manually entered results are the responsibility of the user submitting them. We reserve the right to remove or correct results we reasonably believe to be inaccurate or fraudulent.

3. Series and Competitions

• From time to time, we run Series (e.g. the 10K Sussex Autumn/Winter Series) with associated standings, rankings, and prizes.
• Eligibility rules, qualifying races, and scoring methods for each Series will be published on the relevant Series page. It is your responsibility to check these rules before participating.
• We reserve the right to amend Series rules, disqualify entries found to be fraudulent, or cancel a Series, at our discretion — we'll aim to communicate any such changes clearly on the Site.

4. Prizes and Partners

• Where prizes are provided by partner organisations, the specific terms of that prize (eligibility, how winners are chosen, how the prize is delivered) will be stated alongside the relevant Series or competition.
• We are not responsible for the fulfilment of prizes provided directly by third-party partners, though we will make reasonable efforts to assist in resolving any issues.
• Prize winners may be announced publicly on the Site or our social media, using the name and result associated with their account, unless you tell us in advance that you'd prefer not to be named.

5. Intellectual Property

• All content on the Site — design, branding, logos, and original written content — belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
• You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g. race reports, profile information), but by submitting it, you grant us a licence to display it on the Site as part of the service.

6. Third-Party Links and Data

The Site may link to or display data from third-party sources (e.g. parkrun, race organisers' results pages). We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party content.

7. Limitation of Liability

• The Site is provided "as is". We do not guarantee the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site, including reliance on training paces, targets, or results data shown.
• Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for anything which cannot legally be limited or excluded (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

8. Account Termination

• You may close your account at any time by contacting us at openpodiumhq@gmail.com.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, including fraudulent result submissions or misuse of the Site.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
