Race Description
The Vanguard Way Marathon and Half Marathon follow an out-and-back route along the Vanguard Way National Trail from Croydon, crossing woodland, open countryside and the North Downs. Both races start from Coombe Road, with the half marathon turning back at 13.1 miles and the marathon continuing to the trail's turning point for the full 26.2 miles.
