Race Description
The Hydrasun Aberdeen Half Marathon was the inaugural running of the City of Aberdeen Half Marathon, held Saturday 18 July 2026, starting and route based around Duthie Park. The flat, tarmac-path course runs along Riverside Drive, over the Bridge of Dee, along South Deeside Road and back via Milltimber Bridge and the Deeside Way. The sold-out event (title-sponsored by engineering firm Hydrasun) drew around 3,000 runners in its first year, with organisers subsequently announcing a full marathon for 2027.
