St Michael's Hospice 10k Run

Race Description

The 10K shares its start and finish with the 5K on East Parade, next to the De La Warr Pavilion, but doubles the distance along Bexhill's pancake-flat seafront — a stretch of coastline flat enough that it once hosted Britain's early land-speed record attempts, which gives some idea of how little elevation there is to worry about here.

Licensed as a road race, it's often used as a mid-distance fixture in spring marathon build-ups as much as a target in its own right. Finishers get a bespoke medal and a free hospice running vest, with trophies going to the overall winners, and every pound raised supports St Michael's Hospice's care for people facing life-limiting illness locally. Entries are non-refundable.
