RunWisborough 5K Trail

Race Description

The shorter distance at Nice Work's RunWisborough event, starting alongside the 10k at 08:30 on the Village Green in Wisborough Green, but covering a single lap of the mostly-tarmac, gently undulating course with its short trail section rather than the two laps the 10k runners complete. The route and surfaces are otherwise the same as the longer race.

Now in its second decade - the event celebrated ten years in 2026 - it retains the same community backing, raising money for Wisborough Green Sports CIO, and shares the same friendly, well-supported village atmosphere as the 10k. A children's colour run on the same day adds to the family feel around the green.

It suits runners wanting a shorter, largely flat introduction to trail-tinged village racing - a good first 5k, a family option alongside 10k-running relatives, or simply a lower-commitment way to take part in an event known locally for its warmth and organisation rather than its scale.
