Robertsbridge Midsummer 10k

Race Description

Held at Robertsbridge Rec Ground on The Clappers, with local support from the Robertsbridge Bonfire Society, this is an 18:00 evening race organised by Nice Work on an undulating, multi-terrain course of traffic-free paths and tracks within and around the village - a mix of road and trail rather than a pure road 10k. The 10k covers two laps of the course before finishing back at the Rec Ground.

The midsummer evening timing is central to its character: long light, a summer atmosphere, and a BBQ and bar for runners and supporters afterwards, backed up by volunteer marshals along the route. It's pitched as suitable for all abilities rather than as a fast, record-chasing course, with the undulating terrain meaning pacing matters more than raw speed.
