Race Description
The Claygate Country Five is an annual five-mile race held on the Sunday before the Claygate Flower & Village Show, starting and finishing at Claygate Recreation Ground. The route is almost entirely off-road, using footpaths across Claygate Common and Arbrook Common with only moderate hills, and has run most years since the 1980s.
